What Are The Consequences of a Weak Immune System?
Your immune system is charged with the task of keeping your body healthy. Sadly, there are consequences of a weak immune system. Understanding these consequences is important to help you maintain a healthy body.
Have you ever noticed how some people tend to catch anything that comes along while others, perhaps even siblings, never get sick a day in their lives? Everyone has a different immune system.
The immune system helps the body to fight off infections and to work properly. However, some of these immune systems are compromised from the start. Often, there is no apparent reason for this compromise, still other times, there is an obvious reason. Regardless, there are a few things that can be done to help improve your immune system.
Weak immune systems seems to be becoming more and more prevalent in today’s world. It could be that the toxins and other environmental factors are becoming much stronger and more toxic than previous generations.
With more modern medical technology more conditions are being identified earlier and that may also account for some of the consequences of a weak immune system. If a person has a weaker immune system they will be open and vulnerable to more serious illnesses. However, they may have never known they had such illnesses had modernized medicine not been available. For this reason, it may appear that more people are becoming ill.
As more people are exposed to toxins and environmental factors more are beginning to see weakened immune systems. These toxins and environmental factors are affecting how a person’s body responds to such exposures by breaking down the immune system.
As the immune system is breaking down the person is becoming more vulnerable to things that they previously would’ve been able to fight off. Such conditions as skin irritations and rashes may suddenly spring up in response to the toxins that the person was exposed to.
Changes in diet may be necessary for some persons as their bodies begin to react to some of the normal foods that they eat. This may include such conditions as gluten sensitivity that may come on suddenly. A gluten sensitivity may appear as joint pain, skin rashes, hives or even the sensation of walking on marbles.
Each immune system is individualized and will react differently to whatever it is exposed to. While some conditions may run in families, the immune system of each person will react differently so what bothers one person may not bother another at all or only to a lesser degree.
Understanding that each immune system will react differently can help people to understand how to stay well longer. If they know that a sibling is allergic to wheat they may opt to stay away from it and never have any issues whatsoever. However, if they choose to go ahead and eat it and they are pre-dispositioned to the allergy, they may find that they to are affected. It’s all in the person’s choice of how to respond to the situation.
The immune system is very complex and it’s vital to our health. Maintaining a stronger immune system is important if you hope to remain well.
While it seems unfair that one family member may be highly allergic to something and another not, it’s a fact of life that immune systems run differently for each and every person.
Choosing to understand what each person’s limitations are will go far in helping a person to understand the consequences of a weak immune system. However, remember that just as everyone reacts differently to medications, everyone’s immune system is going to react differently to toxins.
